Physical Description: Amon's true form is extremely built. Spending eons in metal forges, craft shops, and other trade areas has greatly affected his body. His hair is as black as coal and his eyes as bright and orange as the flames he works with. His skin has many shades, ranging from a tan skin tone, to a burnt orange, and even a deep black. Due to this, many people who've seen his true form speculate he was originally an Unseelie Faerie. However, there isn't much known about his past to truly verify this. He could be Seelie, Unseelie, or even a Wildfaerie.

Personality: Amon has the mindset of an innovator. He feels useless f he isn't working on something new, and is known to be restless when not working, so much so that he's held many forms over the years. Distrusing of anyone new, he's silent in large crowds, and prefers to move by unnoticed. He's rarely in one place for long, though his rule has one on mostly unquestioned, due to his sound politics, and his policy of neutrality between The Summer and Winter Courts. Amon identifies greatly with the season of Autumn, mainly because of his birth on the equinox.

History: Not much is known about the past of Amon the Iron Lord to the public. No one knew who he was at all, until his first appearance, before the separation of the Summer and Winter Courts.

His past, known only by himself and Tir na n'Og, was that he was born as an Unseelie Faerie. He was born in the aftermath of a great war between the Winter court and a united force of several tribes of wild faerie. His parents were the spirits of Death and Chaos, which was now subsiding. A woman he regarded as his mother found him on the field of battle, and took him in as her own, naming him Amon, the Hidden One.

As he years went by, the crone became impressed with Amon's strength and crafting ability. However, a group of humans summoned to the Lands by Tir na n'Og one day ried pillaging the place in which the two lived. The two defeated the force easily, but Amon had been struck with a blade made of iron and survived the encounter. Having seen this, the woman he'd called mother turned on him, and attempted to kill him. In rage from this betrayal, Amon murdered the woman and set off on his own.

He eventually came across a band of Wild Fae composed entirely of Iron Faerie. Not long after, he became their leader, and they dubbed him Tiarna na iarann, or the Lord of Iron, for his unparalleled skill in metalworking.

As time went by, Amon became aware of the oppression of those who could handle iron safely, and began a personal mission to stop this wrong by re-entering the Winter Court. After many years climbing his way into Mab's personal court, he began making arguments for his people's courts, before being violently ejected from his position after learning that the person he'd been posing as was the Iron Lord who was beginning to gain some notoriety in the Lands. This, however, was not brought to Mab's attention.

After a similar failure in the Summer Courts, Amon rallied the forces of the Ironfae and waged open war against the two courts. The battles were gruesome, and even though the Iron Lords forces were vastly outnumbered, their iron weapons and armor were things to be reckoned with. Eventually, King Auberon granted the Lord land or his people, which would recognizedas a sovereign land, a separate entity. Not long afterward, Mab gifted him with additional land after it was agreed that it would be the only place where iron would be used, and any and all iron coming and leaving the Land was monitored by the Iron Lord himself.
